Reviews

The location is one of the best in Nozawa Onsen. A short walk to the gondola and you’re up the slope in no time. The drying room is spacious and very useful. There is a washing machine and dryer for guests use and we loved the bathing room which had a large men’s and women’s bath which soothed aching muscles post skiing all day. The bedrooms are good size, beds very comfortable and the couches in the living area very relaxing!! Loved the onsen eggs, apple juice plus other goodies for breakfast. will definitely be back!

This is the perfect location in Nozawa Onsen. Close to the main gondola so you aren't shlepping too far in your ski boots, but also an easy walk into the town. The lodge is really beautifully appointed with gorgeous attention to detail. The breakfast is fantastic, the rooms are a beautiful Japanese style with the dreamiest doona's ever and the common area is so inviting. Once you try the lounge you'll want one at home. The people running the lodge are awesome, super friendly and helpful. OH, and don't forget the in lodge onsen - wow! Heaven. The shared bathroom (pretty common in Japan) is very clean and with only a couple of rooms per floor, it didn't even feel like sharing. Five stars isn't enough.

Best place to stay if you're coming to ski/snowboard at Nozawa Onsen. Clean and tidy rooms. Amazing Onsen bath. Storage room for equipment. Dry room for jackets and boots leads into the building and onwards to your room! We can see lot of effort has been made to make the place comfortable and practical for all guests. Staff here are also multilingual and super friendly!

Top notch location! Only a 2 min walk to the lifts. Maybe 3 if it's powing like it did when we were here!
